Welcome

We invite you to join us at The New Zealand Healthcare Congress 2012 “BOLD AMBITIONS: The Future of Healthcare in New Zealand”.

The medical technology industry recognises the need to change how we work in order to meet the challenges we all face in steering New Zealand’s healthcare onto a sustainable path. Bold thinking is required if we are to face the shared challenge.

New Zealand is not alone in facing these challenges. US Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius said, “Every day we hear of health-based organisations developing and implementing innovative solutions to some of our most difficult problems. What is striking is that these innovators have found that when they deliver the best care they are also working to bring down costs. The innovations are not only the key to better health, they are also the key to spark our economy. ”

Facilitated by the Medical Technology Association of New Zealand (MTANZ), our Congress provides an opportunity for participants to come together and discuss and debate healthcare reform in New Zealand. The purpose is to address key themes in New Zealand Healthcare reform, to discuss the key issues facing the New Zealand Public Health Sector and to table and debate the best solutions. The caliber of presenters will be unprecedented, and the information covered will be of utmost relevance in these changing times.

We look forward to welcoming you to our 2012 Congress.

Kind regards
